Expose and consume web services

Legacy 3270 applications require to be connected to middleware infrastructure such as IBM Websphere in order to benefit from the modern ergonomics and services provided by these solutions.

Virtel provides a means to set up communication between host applications and the IBM WebSphere or Apache portals: Virtel communicates with these portals using a secure URL and open-standard languages such as XML and HTTP, thus providing open communication between legacy 3270 transactions and new applications.

This allows for a simple and smooth implementation of web services for host applications by developers who do not have mainframe knowledge.
